The spectacular trail on the beach scheduled for Sunday 24 September at the Venice Lido of 5 and 11 kilometers and the 2K Alì Family Run is approaching.

Venice, 24 August 2023 - The countdown begins with the appointment of the 'trail on the beach' branded Venicemarathon and titled this year by the prestigious brand 'Compressport', scheduled on the Venice Lido on Sunday 24 September: an event that will round off the summer trail season and which, after the success of last year's first edition, will attract off-road race specialists from Italy and abroad.
Once again this year, the sea, running and beach parties will be the key elements of this second edition, which will allow athletes and families to spend a pleasant and fun day of sport in a very renowned seaside resort.
There will be three distances proposed: the 5K and 11K races which will offer a very technical and demanding route between the beach, sand dunes, pine forest and dam, with different types of soil and natural obstacles to overcome, and the dedicated 2K Alì Family Run especially for families, children and accompanying persons and which will take place entirely on the shoreline.

Registrations are open and proceeding at full speed. The fee is the same for both distances of 5 and 11K and the race pack includes: the official vest in breathable fabric by Compressport, the souvenir medal, the timing service with chip, medical assistance, refreshments along the route and final, the bag deposit, the changing room, toilets, showers upon arrival, final diploma and the voucher for the Pasta Party.
To entice the athletes to reach the Venice Lido by bike, the organizers will reimburse the ticket for transporting the bicycle on the Ferry Boat. Once again, a concrete gesture of great environmental sensitivity by Venicemarathon.
The village will open from 8.30 and the start of the competitions is scheduled for around 10.30 from the Blue Moon bathing establishment which, thanks to the collaboration of the Municipality of Venice and Venezia Spiagge, will also be the headquarters of the event this year.
The Blue Moon will host departure, arrival, the Lido Beach Village with all services, the Beach Party with lots of music and the final Pasta Party offered to all participants.
To enrich the post-race, this year there will also be a massage service managed by the Diabasi professional school with the use of products from the sponsor Lacomed: in addition to letting their muscles loosen, the athletes will receive valuable advice on products.
All competitors will also be able to extend the day of sea, sun and relaxation, taking advantage of the 'Promo Beach' with umbrella and sunbeds at a discounted price.
The Alì Family Run, on the other hand, will be completely free and all participants will receive the official t-shirt and final refreshment at the end of the run-walk.
